Perfectly Playful is an early childhood educational and consultancy business operated by Katie Lloyd as a sole trader. This policy explains, in plain English, how personal information shared through this website is handled.

Information you may share

When you use the enquiry form on the Contact page, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, organisation, the role you are enquiring as, the type of enquiry and your message. Some of these details are optional.

Please avoid including sensitive or identifying information about individual children in your enquiry.

How the enquiry form works

The enquiry form does not save your details on this website. When you select "Send enquiry", your own email app opens with your details placed into a draft email to welcome@perfectlyplayful.com.au. Nothing is sent until you choose to send that email.

Once sent, your enquiry is received by email in the same way as any other email you send.

Information collected during family consultations

Where a family chooses to engage in an individual consultation, parents or carers may voluntarily share additional information about their child's development, behaviour, experiences, relationships and wellbeing.

This information is discussed privately and used only to support the educational and consultative purpose of the service. Families are encouraged to share only information relevant to the support being sought.

Perfectly Playful does not provide clinical therapy, psychological assessment or diagnosis.

How your information is used

Information you share is used to respond to your enquiry and, where you choose to proceed, to discuss, arrange and deliver professional learning, consultancy or family education services.

How your information is stored and retained

Enquiries received by email are held in the business email account, with access limited to the business operator.

General enquiries where no service proceeds will ordinarily be retained for up to 12 months and then securely deleted where practicable, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Information relating to an agreed service may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service and meet applicable legal and record-keeping obligations.

Sharing your information

Your information is not sold. It is not shared with others except where needed to respond to you or deliver services you have requested, or where required by law.

Third-party service providers

Perfectly Playful uses third-party providers for website hosting and business email. These providers may process or store personal information as necessary to provide their services. Their own privacy and security practices also apply.
